In this peer review, I helped my peer build her paper and improve it. I also commented on little errors that I spotted but also I commented on connects they could make within their paper. One thing that I think I do the most during peer review is comment on the positives that they had in their paper. I think it is easier to spot the things they did well rather than the things they aren’t quite getting yet. I think overall I am significantly better at commenting on my peers work then I was when I first attempted at the beginning of the semester. I feel that now with my comments I go into more depth about the details they could add to improve their paper, like with my comment on page two about adding more ‘I Say’. Compared to the beginning of the semester when I didn’t really comment on my peers work because I didn’t see any visible grammar errors. When I look make on what I thought peer review was before starting in our groups in this class I think I didn’t fully understand the importance and detail peer review comments are supposed to have. I think that my comments on my peer’s papers really grew and became a lot more helpful for my peers when they were turning their first draft papers to final drafts.
